An all-star cast is featured in this traditional program, beginning with fireworks and virtuosity in the Rossini, young genius with Mendelssohn’s Op. 4 Sonata, written when he was 17 years old, and Schubert’s famous and infamous “Trout Quintet” or “Forellen”, one of the happiest pieces of classical music ever written!

HCB has done it again! We have booked another community vocal organization to share our stage!

The Dofasco Male Choir is coming to our home base, St Andrews Church on Sunday, March 22 at 7:00 pm and we are excited and honoured to perform with them.

The repertoire? Conductors Choice. Intriguing!

All proceeds help support us so we can keep playing for you. The Hamilton Concert Band is a not for profit organization that is supported by a group of musicians that are diverse in age and skill-set. We play many concerts a year around the city. Some of these shows are at St Andrew’s United Church other community venues. We also do private events in such places as nursing homes and long-term facilities.
