An all-star cast is featured in this traditional program, beginning with fireworks and virtuosity in the Rossini, young genius with Mendelssohn’s Op. 4 Sonata, written when he was 17 years old, and Schubert’s famous and infamous “Trout Quintet” or “Forellen”, one of the happiest pieces of classical music ever written!
