Hamilton – The Sleepy Little Suburb That Gave Us Teenage Head: Hamilton Arts Council

… in which he argues that the Steeltown/Working Class so-called roots of our Music Scene may just be a great (and popular) story used by the media over the years to get good press traction. What McKay wants us to consider is some other reasons why Hamilton may be dubbed “Music City” — possibly because of a public school music program that put music teachers into (almost) every public school classroom in the City during the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
