Glen Brown
Glen is the creator and publisher Hamilton Musician. He holds a Bachelor of Music in education from McMaster University, a Diploma in Applied Music from Mohawk College, and a Bachelor of Education from University of Toronto. He is an Ontario Certified Teacher.
Glen has played percussion and recorded with the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Hamilton, The Hamilton Concert Band, The George Rose Big Band, and Burlington’s Sophisticated Swing Big Band. He has played with Big Johnny Blue and Strange Cargo, and he plays drums for Bucket List. Glen has served as a founding director of the Hamilton Blues Society. He is a member of the Hamilton Musicians Guild. Glen taught drums and percussion at the Mohawk College School of Music, Cambrian College and has been a drum teacher at Mohawk College and for private students.
Glen writes brochures, promotional letters, press releases, articles, web site copy, white papers and newsletters. He designs logos, brochures, signs, newsletters and advertising posters. He helps musicians build their websites and build their audiences. Prior to becoming an independent writer, Glen was an elementary school music, computer and language teacher. He has worked with students of all ages.

Shiona Mackenzie is a communications professional with 17 years of international experience and a lifelong love of the arts.
Sarah Anne Wolkowski
Saxophonist Sarah Anne Wolkowski has been playing since she was in the seventh grade. She holds two saxophone performance degrees: a Bachelor of Music from McGill University (High Distinction) and a Master of Music from the University of Alberta. For several years, Sarah maintained a vibrant studio at the Alberta College Conservatory of Music at Grant MacEwan University. She is an adjunct faculty member at Mohawk College in Hamilton, and offers advanced instruction for all levels at Saxophone by the Lake in Oakville.

David S. Fawcett
An associate composer of the Canadian Music Centre, David Fawcett was a professional classical singer. He has written for orchestra, choir and band as well as songs and chamber music. Mr. Fawcett holds degrees in Music and Education from the University of Western Ontario where he studied music composition with Jean Anderson and Michael Longton. He studied opera at the Banff School, C.W. Post Summer Opera and the University of Toronto.
His professional career in composition began with a performance of “Summer Storm” for unaccompanied solo voice at “Music Hear and Now” in Hamilton in 1988. He has subsequently composed more than 30 concert works, most with multiple movements. He taught music in schools including 13 seasons as conductor and chorus master of Buchanan Park Opera Club.
Philip C. Perron
Philip is a self taught Hamilton band/concert photographer. Phil has been creating iconic images for over 35 years. Everyone from Frank Zappa, The Who, Bruce Springsteen and now up to The Trews and Monster Truck. His passion for music shows in his photography. He is also a dance/performance photographer and maybe with this knowledge for movement he translates that to great concert images by capturing those decisive moments. A strong supporter of the Hamilton music scene since the “Hippee Era” even seeing RUSH playing at the old Rockpile in the basement of the Bronze Rail on King Street with Rutsey on drums!

Suzanne Steenkist
Suzanne Steenkist is a freelance photographer/artist in her spare time who has a Certificate in Pre-press, Graphic Design/Camera has worked in Film development/Darkroom and studied Fine Arts and Art History at Concordia University. She runs her own Landscape/Maintenance business called Arbourscapes Inc. also. This provides a base for her work in Photography which spans from Street, Portrait, Events, Landscape, Nature and mixed media. Devlin Flynn was being raised in Peterborough, Ontario when he underwent the terrifying and worrisome transformation of puberty and emotional development. A multi-instrumentalist, he was a part of many bands and projects while living at home. He is currently studying contemporary music at Mohawk College.

Tony Gosgnach
Tony G has been an independent, multi-instrumental Hamilton musician, as well as a freelance writer and media content provider, for more than 20 years. He has been published in numerous periodicals throughout North America and has been an anthem singer for the Hamilton Bulldogs hockey team. He holds degrees in journalism, English, history and religious studies, as well as certificates in music from Mohawk College and the Royal Conservatory of Music. He is forming the media and music services business Words and Sounds, with a website to come at www.wordsandsounds.ca.
